i. . . can't. . . stop. . . knitting. . . gloves. . .and. . . mittens. . . help. To me, there's something classic about a pair of orange mittens. These are knit with 100% alpaca on size 9 needles. The yarn is so soft and I just wanted to have my hands on that skein all of the time, so making something to put my hands into. . . well it made a lot of sense.

This is my first self-designed glove project. I am very happy with how this one is turning out. I am using Rowan felted tweed on size 2 needles. They will keep my hands cozy and stylish come fall. And they will be perfect for holding a mug of my favorite fall drinks, mexican hot chocolate and hot apple cider, while hanging out on the porch.

I recently knitted this scarf with Lion Brand's Homespun. My favorite "cheap" yarn.
